The Season of Advent is a time of waiting and preparation for both the
celebration of Jesus’s birth at Christmas and the return of Christ at the Second Coming.
The word Advent is derived from the Latin word adventus, which means “coming”.
Advent is a season of hope, a time for peace and joy in anticipation
for the the birth of Jesus. Start each day with this purpose in your heart and mind.
